Marsupial Landscape Management have been providing general ground maintenance services for the past 2 years on the account which I manage. Marsupial is responsible for the servicing of over 800 sites on a programmed basis which results in an average of 1200 services per month. In additional to programmed works, Marsupial also delivers reactive works and projects, which now includes fencing repairs and tree works. Marsupial have proven to be flexible in their delivery and have demonstrated ingenuity by developing their resources and their service product with Sodexo as our contract requirements with our client have increased. Marsupial’s management structure provides good support to both the account and their staff members. Communication paths are always open and productive and culminates on a monthly basis with an Operational Meeting. Marsupial’s field reporting tool M Trac has proven to be a valuable asset as it provide real time reporting from the field and can be accessed at any time via Dropbox. Marsupial have developed a successful model to deliver their service within Sodexo contract requirements and we intend on fostering the relationship into the near future.

Visit of President François Hollande to Thales’s Rydalmere Facility

On the 18th of November 2014 Thales Australia hosted a visit by the President of the Republic of France, François Hollande to our major industrial facility at Rydalmere NSW. This was a great honour and significant event for Thales to showcase our technologies and capabilities. Many dignitaries attended including Senator the Hon. David Johnston, Minister for Defence, H.E. Mr. Christophe Lecourtier, Ambassador of France to Australia, Thales's Executive Vice President Pierre-Eric Pommellet, and other VIPs. A significant and substantial contribution was made by Marsupial Landscape in preparing the Thales site to host the French head of state, and I personally extend my thanks and appreciation to you and your staff who applied so much effort and commitment to refurbishing the site under often difficult conditions, and to a very tight schedule and deadline. This effort ensured that the facility was presented in an exceptional condition supporting Thales's image as Australia's leading defence company. My personal thanks are extended to Craig Austin for applying such commitment, effort and professionalism to complete the works in time for the visit. The landscaping has greatly improved the appearance of our property.
