Information Technology ADDER 2010 Marsupial have two software application for open space management. These programs have been developed by the management of Marsupial and are exclusive to us in the Grounds Maintenance industry. Adder 2010 and HL-Sys provide accurate estimating, tracking and resource scheduling for all works to be carried out on site. A feature of great benefit that may be utilized by our clients is the ability to identify an unlimited number of landscape areas, which could be linked to ArcGIS 9x or other GIS planning software. Chemicals and application In areas where the use of herbicide is prohibited we have developed and utilizied ‘Steamwand’ technology. Appended hereto is information about the technology. In field trails carried out in Sydney Olympic Park and Millennium Parklands, we established that Steamwand can be up to 200% faster than hand weeding and can offer a cost saving of up to 50% in certain areas. A copy of the Field trial report is available upon request.

Spray equipment Marsupial owns and uses Control Droplet Applicator (CDA) nozzles combined with ‘Enviromist’ spray domes to apply broad area chemical applications. This method reduces the chemical usage ensuring only enough chemical is applied to grass/ turf areas to kill weeds without surplus chemical solution flowing into the soil. The ‘Enviromist’ spray domes ensure zero spray drift. The use of CDA hand held units greatly reduces Herbicide usage whist increasing application speed.

Sharepoint / Intranet Sites Marsupial utilise web- enabled Windows SharePoint Services technology in Windows Server 2003 to implement and manage internal and team/ client, team/consultant collaboration and deliver immediate benefits to our users. These benefits include. The benefits that our Share point system will provide to clients are summarised as: Programs of scheduled works will be uploaded to sharepoint as they are changed allowing current view at any time Site reports posted directly onto the site by our managers and team leaders, allowing tracking at any time of progress of works. Images, before, after and during works, maximising accountability, minimising duplication.
