LATEST PROJECT - Brisbane Safelink

The Safelink project has been designed to deliver Brisbane a safer, more efficient Ipswich Motorway. To achieve this end, Marsupial is working in a joint venture with Queensland's Main Roads, Leighton's and BMD.

With the construction of link roads already underway, Marsupial is following closely behind with the earth moving and amenity landscaping of the project.

The site has required excavation and soil cultivation of existing soil and will see the importation of 40,000 sqm of topsoil and mulch. The stabilisation of 60,000 sqm of steep batters using jute matting and Carex has been a large component of the job.

Approximately 1.4 million plants will be brought in and planted onto the 5 km site. The landscaping will also include the interchange at Centenary Highway, 5km of new service roads and the pedestrian and cyclist track along the Ipswich Motorway and Centenary Highway.
