Indigenous Participation

Marsupial Landscape Management is committed to Indigenous Participation. Through our partnership with Birrong Indigenous Services (part of Verifact), we are dedicated to developing relationships with Indigenous businesses and communities, and increasing opportunities in regional Australia.

We acknowledge Indigenous people as being the original carers of their lands and the importance of preserving their culture and customs. We are dedicated to respectful relationships with Indigenous communities and helping to provide sustainable employment, training, education, and business opportunities.

An example is demonstrated on the John Holland Country Rail Network (CRN). The CRN services government owned heavy rail network in NSW. The Marsupial and Birrong partnership manages vegetation control at 142 rail crossing and 14 yards from Narromine to Cobar, and reactive works along 500 kilometres of regional rail lines, and is the first all indigenous team to provide vegetation works at the site.
